Leading e-commerce company Takealot Bursaries are available for 2021 studies. The closing date for all applications is 30 September 2020.
South African students displaying strong academic potential are encouraged to apply for Takealot Bursaries for 2021 studies. They are available to final undergraduate or Honours or BTech students, specialising in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
A set condition for Bursars is that they must be available for a position in the Takealot graduate programme in the subsequent year. They will be expected to be available to work for Takealot.com during vacation and upon graduation.
Takealot Bursaries selection criteria:
Individuals with academic potential as well as motivation for a career with Takealot.com
Applicants with an average of 65% and above for undergraduate degrees and in the last examination (mid-year/June) will be prioritised.
Individuals who are entrepreneurial, dynamic, smart and customer-centric will be considered.
Takealot is looking for team players who are solutions-oriented. Bursary applicants should also be open to direct feedback, as this will be a pivotal part of their work going forward.
Doers and thinkers with a passion for e-commerce and what they are creating are more likely to be favoured for consideration.
